"Invalid username or password"
Almost always one of two things:
- You have not registered. The client has no sign-up. Your account is made on this forum, and that username and password are your game login. If you never registered, there is nothing to log into.
- Typo. Try logging into the forum with the same details. If that works and the game does not, post here.
Nothing happens when you double-click the jar, or it flashes and closes. Run it from a terminal instead so you can see the error:

java -jar Emberfall.jarIf it starts with an UnsupportedClassVersionError, your Java is too old. Same fix.
It hangs on the loading bar
First launch downloads roughly 126 MB of game data. On a slow connection this takes a while and the bar can look stuck. Give it several minutes before deciding something is wrong. It only happens once.
"Error connecting to server"
- Check the site — if the world is down it will be down for everyone.
- Re-download the client. If the server has been updated, an old jar can fail to connect.
- If you are on a work or school network, the game port may be blocked. Try another network.
Old artwork, wrong logo, missing sprites: download the client again. Updates ship inside the jar and in the cache, and an old copy will show you old art.
My purchase has not arrived
Type ::claim in game — that pulls down anything queued for you. If it is still missing, post here with your order reference and the exact name you typed at checkout.
I have been banned and I think it is wrong
Post here with your account name and what you believe happened. Stick to the facts.
